K-BULL 93 FM (KUBL)

                                                   DETAILED CONTEST RULES

                                               FOR CITADEL RADIO STATIONS

 

1.  How to Enter the Contest:

a.             To participate in K-BULL 93 FM contests, You must “Enter to win” at one of the live remote KUBL Broadcasts, enter online at kbull93.com, or listen on the air for contesting.  

b.             Only one entry per person per household.

2.  Eligibility Restrictions:

a.             Contests are open to all KUBL listeners who are 21 years of age or older and who reside in the greater Utah area. Certain contests will allow listeners 18 years or older and will state so in the individual contest rules. Employees of KUBL, its licensee, Citadel Broadcasting Company, their affiliated entities, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors/promotional partners, other radio stations in the Utah area and the members of their immediate families are ineligible to participate or win.

b.             Listeners are eligible to win a KUBL contest only once every thirty days.  Only one winner per person is permitted in any contest.

c.              Must hold a valid driver’s license. Must sign all waivers & regulations before leaving on trips or accepting any prize.


3.             Prizes:

a.             All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of KUBL: Citadel Broadcasting: 434 Bearcat Drive, Salt Lake City, UTAH 84115.  Any prize or prize certificate not claimed within thirty days of winning will be forfeited by the winner.  In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its arrival.  KUBL is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. [If prize must be picked up at location other than station, describe arrangements.]

b.             Contest prizes are not transferable. Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.

4.             Selection of Winners:

a.              Decisions of station management with respect to the contest are final.

b.             Winner must listen/or be present to win- depending on individual rules of contest.  If the winner(s) cannot  be contacted within 9 minutes after the prize is awarded, an alternate winner will be selected.                             

5.  Conditions:

a.             Payment of all federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.  Winners may be required to sign an IRS Form W-9 or the equivalent.


               b.             By participating in the contest, the winner or winners (and their guest or traveling companion, if any) agree to have their name, voice, or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and to sign a publicity release prior to acceptance of the prize.

               c.            Contest winners (and their guests or travel companions, if any) will be required to sign a liability release prior to acceptance of any prize valued at $600.00 or greater or which prize includes the provision of transportation, whether or not such transportation is provided by KUBL.  Pursuant to the liability release, the winners will agree to hold KUBL, its licensee, Citadel Broadcasting Company, their affiliated companies and the officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.

               d.             KUBL, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the KUBL Web Site or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any sort.

6.                           KUBL reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the contest, including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, which will become effective upon announcement.

7.                           No purchase is necessary.  The contest is void where prohibited.

8.                           Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification, at the sole discretion of KUBL.

9.                           KUBL is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of a prize.             

10.                         Copies of the written contest rules and a list of all winners are available during regular business hours at the main studio of KUBL, 434 Bearcat Drive Salt Lake City, UTAH 84115 or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to KUBL.
