Heads up NFL. Opposing teams had better mind the hair pulling�Head & Shoulders has taken out a $1 million Lloyds of London policy protecting their spokesperson, Pittsburgh Steelers� Troy Polamalu�s famous ringlets. �It�s like J.Lo�s insured butt!� he jokes, comparing the famous urban legend surrounding the singer�s derriere to learning about his own very real insurance policy. The beauty brand has reason to keep Troy�s 35″ tresses under lock and key: Women and men across America are desperate for the secret to those Samoan curls, with some of his manliest teammates even trying to score the secret. �One guy in particular� is stealing all of my Head & Shoulder products,� he laughs. Taking 45 minutes pregame to care for his hair has become a ritual for the all-pro safety, who explains, �It�s correlated to what a warrior in the past would do to prepare for war. You have the Mongolians, the Japanese Samurai, the Spartans�all of these warriors with long hair�and in that way you can almost get into the mind-way, preparing for some type of battle when you are doing your hair.� After eight years without so much as a trim, would Troy ever consider cutting his signature locks? �With this big hair insurance�I don�t think so!� he says.

It�s Coming�The Annual Ringling Bros. Circus Parade

Salt Lake City, Utah � For 140 Years, It�s One Thing You Could Count on, the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey^� Circus Elephant Walk & Circus Parade. Sometime during the night on September 21^st a mile long sixty one car train will arrive, gleaming by the light of the moon. The pre-dawn silence will be broken by the chatter of 130 performers, speaking 15 different languages and the mystical sounds of 100,000 pounds of Asian elephants, Bengal & Siberian tigers, horses, ponies, llamas, Pygmy and Nubian goats, a rare Watusi, all joining forces with human performers from the four corners of the world as they disembark in Salt Lake City. The elephants will raise their trunks and remember the town they�re in. Man and beast will work to get ready for that grandest of traditions, The Great Circus Parade.

At noon on Wednesday, September 22^nd the sirens of the Salt Lake City motorcycle police will open the show. The parade will start at 200 South and head north up Rio Grande Street the center of the Gateway Mall and end at 50 North Rio Grande Street.

Children will line the streets as they have for generations, eyes gleaming with anticipation, parent�s hearts filled with joy for a peek at Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey^� Presents Barnum�s FUNundrum!^SM. This monumental, once in a lifetime event celebrates the 200^THanniversary of the birth of the legendary P.T. Barnum, the Greatest Showman on Earth!

Bring the kids and grandkids. Bring children of all ages and together you can celebrate the Grand Parade of The Greatest Show on Earth. Best viewing will be from the either side of the Rio Grande Street up through the Gateway Mall.

Come early for a great seat, visit local stores at the Gateway Mall to receive your FREE Ringling Bros. Clown nose (while supplies last).

Salt Lake's Grand America leads the pack in voting for best public restroom

Halfway through the public voting in the ninth annual "America's Best Public Restroom Contest," the Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City holds the No. 1 spot.

However, contest officials report the voting to be very close. Online voting ends Aug. 31 at www.bestrestroom.com.

Located at 555 S. Main, the Grand America boasts Italian Carrera marble, bronze and crystal chandeliers, floor-to-ceiling commodes, inlaid African Anigre wood and hand-painted walls in its restrooms.

This is the first time Salt Lake or Utah has had a finalist in the unusual national contest.

The Grand America is a 24-story hotel with 775 guest rooms, including 295 suites, and is the flagship property of The Grand America Hotels & Resorts, owned by Earl Holding.

The Fountain on Locust in St. Louis, with its hand-painted murals, ornate fixtures and designer mirrors, currently holds the No. 2 spot. Bryant Park in New York is third with Beaux Arts design, a full-time attendant, freshly cut flowers, scented oils and electronic seat covers in its restrooms.

While the 10 finalists are all unique, they have one thing in common � all are exceptionally clean.
